What’s Hot: The Pro-Form 210 CSX is a recumbent stationary bike designed to help you reach your fitness goals efficiently. With several onboard programs and a slot for iFit cards, your workout combinations are endless. The 210 CSX is packed with great features, well-designed and manufactured with good quality materials.

What’s Not: In its initial release between Pro-Form and retailers, some customers received versions of the bike without the iFit compatibility. Pro-Form appears to be working with retailers to sort this issue out.

The Bottom Line: The Pro-Form 210 CSX is a great recumbent exercise bike. It’s sturdy, durable and loaded with features. If iFit compatibility is essential, buy this bike from a place where you can physically inspect the box to verify that you are getting the proper model.

Recumbent exercise bikes such as the Pro-Form 210 CSX are excellent for cardiovascular training. Regular use of such stationary bikes can lead to better overall fitness and well-being. They are great for people with some mobility issues, back and knee problems as they help you to work out in a low-impact and seated manner.

But just because it’s low impact doesn’t mean that it’s low on exercise! It has 12 different programs, a manual setting, and a customizable program. Control the difficulty of your workout with one of twelve levels of resistance, and you can a really good sweat going on in just a matter of minutes.

And if those 12 programs aren’t enough, you can also use a variety of iFit cards to keep your routines exciting and help you stay on track. Using an iFit card can be a massive help to you especially if you want to reach that next level of training. Fitness experts, such as Jillian Michaels created iFit routines to help motivate and keep workouts fresh.

One of the points I like about this bike is how easy it is to assemble. The manual is very clear and easy to understand and describes all pieces and parts. Just to be sure your installation goes as smoothly as possible, make sure to give the manual a good read-through and look over all the parts first to make sure you have everything – and that you understand what you’re going to be doing. Some people might have an easier time if they had an extra set of hands to help them.

Another one of the other things I like about the 210 CSX is the heart rate monitor. It includes contact-style heart rate monitors that aren’t known for accuracy. However, accuracy may be improved if both hands grip contacts on each handle.

The console is pretty simple and easy to run. A graphic printed on each side of the console shows the level of intensity of each preset program, which will help you to decide at-a-glance which workout you feel up to completing.

The display has three sections that will give you different readings depending on how you use the machine. The left section will show you the time left when a preset workout is in progress. During Manual Mode, it will switch every couple of seconds between elapsed time and calories burned. It is this section where your heart rate will display while gripping the contacts. The middle display shows a small version of a track that will change as you complete a quarter-mile. When the resistance level changes, the level number will show up here for a couple of seconds. The right portion of the display flips between the distance you have pedaled and your current pace.

All in all, the Pro-Form 210 CSX would work wonderfully for anyone. Reviews from other people who have this bike are all pretty positive as well. It’s an all-around good stationary bike as long as the user weighs less than 250lbs.  Those who weigh more and looking for a good exercise bike to help them lose weight should look elsewhere.
